To build on its winning formula will be no easy feat, but preliminary specifications already suggest that we will see a 4.6 inch super AMOLED screen with a high definition resolution, 16 megapixel camera16, dual-core 1.8 GHz processor (although some are suggesting a quad-core processor) and the latest version of Android (v4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich). Although none of these specifications are set in stone, it is widely regarded among industry experts that these are the features the Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro will boast. We won’t know for sure until its expected April release, but it would be a big surprise if this level of technology is not present.

Although we can only really speculate at this point, the specifications of these phones are likely to blow last year’s handsets out of the water. Huawei Sony Xperia x vs Huawei Sony Xperia XA

The Sony Xperia x and the Sony Xperia XA are two recent additions to the Huawei Xperia series. The Sony Xperia x  variant was released in May 2016 whereas the XA variant was released in July 2016. Both of them are luxuriant smart phones which lie in a very high price range. Price-wise, the Sony Xperia x  is more expensive than its counterpart XA. Design

Although both of these cell phones have the typical-looking candy bar shape, there is a slight difference between their external designs. On the other hand, its counterpart has a pixel density of 256 ppi. But we have to say it again that this is not a huge difference for an average user. Would You Buy an Huawei Phone?

Huawei have been surprising me for a little while now. All the handset they sell cost a lot less than the market leaders, and they all look pretty high quality as well. But I’m afraid it slightly falls into the same category as Motorola, I just wouldn’t consider buying one. So what is the problem? Why don’t I want a Huawei?
I work with Smartphone all day – and I’ve had some time to consider why I’ve never really cared for Huawei phones. Whenever we speak about them in the office, everyone has their own way of pronouncing it, and I don’t know if that is something that everyone slightly encounters – but I doubt it is the reason.

I think when we speak about budget phones we expect them to be shoddy and available in knock off shops round the back of the local high street market. We don’t envision walking into a shop like the Apple store and picking up an Huawei. Maybe we just like the experience as much as the phone itself. Buying an Huawei P9 Max isn’t an experience. I know nothing of the brand because they don’t communicate with me. I don’t know if they are a comical company that release things like the GiffGaff network do, or if they are a very serious operation just interested in margins. I assume the later, until I see evidence of the former.

If I buy an Huawei there is nothing for me to say to people – this is how I see myself. Buying an Apple phone or a Samsung, you are telling people that I’m into this “innovation” stuff – I think it’s cool and that’s how I spend my money, supporting “innovation”. An Huawei phone says nothing about you – except that you bought the phone because you had little choice. They’re not offering budget phones because of some new cool money saving technology they have – they’re just cheap as far as we (the consumers) are aware.

I like the phones, I like the price – but I know nothing of the company and why it should represent me.

There is also a limitation with them, that isn’t unique to Huawei however. Upon buying a phone from a network, the phone will be locked. This means that it will only work with this network. To unlock Huawei phones you need the unlock code for them. This will mean that you can then use any compatible SIM card in the phone and start saving even more money. I think if Huawei were to pull this image off entirely, they could launch SIM only phones…only. Have a reputation for never locking phones and start communication with everyone. Just a thought.
