Huawei Sony Xperia x vs Huawei Sony Xperia XA

Introduction

The Sony Xperia x and the Sony Xperia XA are two recent additions to the Huawei Xperia series. The Sony Xperia x  variant was released in May 2016 whereas the XA variant was released in July 2016. Both of them are luxuriant smart phones which lie in a very high price range. Price-wise, the Sony Xperia x  is more expensive than its counterpart XA. Design

Although both of these cell phones have the typical-looking candy bar shape, there is a slight difference between their external designs. The Sony Xperia x  looks sharper around the corners and it is perfectly angular. The Sony Xperia x  unlike Sony Xperia XA has slightly curved edges which make this handset easier to hold with a better grip and you would not have any complaint to hold it naturally.

Size

The size of both of these cell phones is almost the same but the size of their touch screens varies slightly. The XA has a bigger 5.0 inches touch screen, while the opponent  fits a 5.0 inches touch screen. This is, however, not a big difference.

Display

On the other hand, by comparing both touch screens, we find considerable differences due to the different technologies used. The XA smartphone has an IPS LCD capacitive touch screen however over the other hand Sony Xperia x  has a Super AMOLED capacitive touch screen. Although both of touch-screens look stunning to eyes, the Super AMOLED touch screen has a better visibility in sunlight. This is the same technology which has made the Samsung Galaxy series so popular among the users. But other than that, the IPS LCD capacitive screen of the XA variant is never devastating. It creates a good user experience as well.

Color Resolution

The pixel density and resolution of both handsets has some of differences as well. The XA has a sharper and clearer display with a pixel density of 326 ppi. On the other hand, its counterpart has a pixel density of 256 ppi. But we have to say it again that this is not a huge difference for an average user. With a display of 16 M colors, both of these smartphones present an impressive color display for playing videos as well as for internet browsing.

Memory

When we compare the memory storage of both of these Huawei Xperia variants, the Huawei XA stands out as a clear and most obvious winner. This more expensive smart phone has an internal phone memory of 16 GB. On the other hand, the XA smart phone has an internal memory of only 2 GB. A memory card slot is available in both of these smart phones for adding extra memory storage capacity of up to 32 GB for all your data, including photos, videos as well as music files.
